The number 3 trend for me this spring is peplums! Peplums are back for 2012 and they're totally rocking the runway. And there are so many options too! You can wear a peplum skirt, or top, or jacket or dress!
I love peplums because they look good on skinny/athletic girls as well as curvy girls. There are two types of peplums and each is suitable for a specific body type.
Curvy girls who want to show off their beautiful curves should wear the fitted peplum, where as skinny and athletic girls should opt for the flared peplum which will give the illusion of wider hips and a curvier waist.
Fitted peplums accentuate curves and flared peplums add curves.
